Our Team

Chelsea Sabo | Founder, Executive Director

Chelsea is the founder and Executive Director of Mothers Advocacy Project (MAP), formerly known as Foster Care Alliance. An Atlanta native, Chelsea received her degree from Samford University, majoring in Communication Studies with a minor in Writing.  Before adopting her son, Chelsea served as a foster parent for three years in metro Atlanta. Through this experience, she realized that there were many challenges birth families, involved with DFCS, faced each day. She also believed that family separation should not be the first solution to family struggle. Chelsea’s passion led her to found MAP and help at-risk single moms. Today, MAP provides services to over 100 families each year, fulfilling Chelsea’s personal mission to help mothers overcome life’s challenges and keep their families together.
