All MAP services are offered at no cost to our moms. We've intentionally covered these additional services to remove barriers for all moms to attend in-person group therapy and family advocacy sessions.

Thank you to everyone who helped us reach our end-of-year fundraising goal of $75,000! These funds will cover 6 months of creating A Safe Space, providing Reliable Transportation, and offering Purposeful Childcare costs for the clients who benefit from our organization.

For the last 8 years, Mothers Advocacy Project has been developing and testing a unique model called the TASS (Trauma Assimilation and Social Support) model at our Sandy Springs location. We emphasize that all services, both clinical and social, are to be performed within a trauma-informed environment. This environment allows us to serve our families well and ensure that they are prepared and ready for the hard work of trauma recovery that is in front of them.

There are 3 program elements that may seem peripheral to those looking on, but to us are essential in providing the level of care and excellence that we require:

  1. A Safe Space

  2. Reliable Transportation

  3. Purposeful Childcare

Keeping an Open Door means…

A Safe Space

Reliable Transportation

Purposeful Childcare

for each mom at MAP.

Be a strong mom. Raise strong kids.

We have seen mothers in our program go from significant mental health diagnoses to none. These moms now have an increase in parenting competency and have had their family stability increase significantly.
