Dear friend,

While this quote is particularly beautiful, I mostly love it because I think it truly reflects the heart of our MAP:family. We operate each day with a modest budget surrounded by hand-me-down couches, desks, and toys. Our office is beautiful, but far from state-of-the-art. However, when you walk into our MAP office, there is a warmth and a hospitality that we hope brings calm and peace to the weary mother on her journey to healing and stability.

Having an open door at MAP Sandy Springs doesn’t require “flashy” decor or operations. Rather it requires meaningful, intentional work and a host team of people who are eager to serve and help. I really believe that I have the very best team in the world! They care and sacrifice so much to help our families begin to thrive, and I couldn't be more proud of them…

So, this Open Door Campaign has been a way for us to show you the “non-flashy” parts of MAP that are essential for us to keep our doors open wide. As we walk into 2024, we are excited for the potential that the new year brings, knowing we will continue to walk on the values that have been constant through the years: Dignity, Generosity, Family, and Excellence. We invite you to continue with us and give toward our hospitality efforts behind the scenes that create true, neighborly kindness.

• $75 provides a MAP:Kids staff member during a group therapy session for our moms.
• $150 provides MAP:Kids care for 1 mom during her “Pre-Phase” session(s) at MAP.
• $600 provides a MAP:Kids staff member for a group therapy cohort for 1 month.
$35,000 needed to continue to provide A Safe Space for families at our MAP office.
$22,500 needed to cover Reliable Transportation for 50 families to and from MAP services.
$17,500 needed to provide Purposeful Childcare for our 200+ MAP:Kids while their caregivers participate in MAP services.
While these numbers seem large to one person, as a MAP:Family, we can reach one mom at a time, one donation at a time.
